•    Personal (non-motorsport) blog where you publish your photos
•    Photographing friends competing in the event
•    Spouses and other guests of working media
•    Applicants under 18 years old

All media accreditation applications must be made using the form below and must include a letter from an editor and/or proof of previous coverage.

Media accreditation will only be issued to applicants with previous working experience at gravel or tarmac rallies or similar off-road or sporting events. Previous experience must be stated on the form below.

Motorsport Australia Media Accreditation or equivalent insurance is compulsory for this event. Applicants who do not currently hold Motorsport Australia Media Accreditation are able to apply at any point in 2024 for this from the Motorsport Australia website.

Please note: holding Motorsport Australia accreditation does not necessarily mean credentials will be granted or approved. Accreditation is at the sole discretion of the event’s media coordinators.

Accredited event photographers will receive  access to safe locations on all competitive stages.

Use of Drones / UAVs are subject to CASA and Motorsport Australia regulations. Motorsport Australia Regulations state that UAV operators must:

•    Hold CASA RePL and ReOC certifications
•    Hold minimum $10 Million public liability insurance
•    Seek approval from Clerk of Course (via Media Manager) prior to use on any competitive stage

As a condition of accreditation, Shannons Adelaide Rally organisers may request from accredited photographers a number of high resolution, copyright free, un-watermarked images from the event for use in future publicity material. Should this occur, appropriate acknowledgement may be given where possible. By submitting this form you agree to this condition.

Accredited photographers will be required to wear their Motorsport Australia Media Accreditation vest while on stages, or the media vest supplied. Event accreditation credentials must be displayed.

Please read and complete the application form carefully and ensure that you complete all of the required fields. We must receive your application prior to the deadline. Applications received after this time cannot be considered.

After lodging your application you will receive an email closer to the event confirming we have received your details. Receipt of this form is not an automatic approval of credentials. To be considered, your application must be compliant with the above criteria and proof of coverage and is at the sole discretion of event organisers.

Accredited journalists and photographers will be required to provide a Media Location Statement for each on-stage location throughout the event.

If you have any questions regarding the media accreditation process, we encourage you to contact the media manager on the below numbers.
