Join team adelaide rally

Each year the Adelaide Rally gathers an army of more than 300 volunteer officials who keep the event running smoothly.

Officials get an insider’s perspective of one of the largest tarmac rally events in the world.

See the action up close and play a vital role in this iconic event, with opportunities to progress as a motorsport official.

We’ll provide training and accreditation, plus all volunteers get goodie bags and exclusive Adelaide Rally merch.

We need people for roles including:

Road Closure Official
A super important role. Keep the road closed, keep everyone safe – great spectating.

Control Official
Another key role. Get cars into right order, release at intervals as directed – see cars up very close.

Spectator Marshal
Set up an area as instructed, keep spectators safe, answer questions, hand out information – cool viewing positions.

Parking Marshal
Assist at street parties, lunch breaks and the like by keeping the competitor cars correctly parked.

Service Park
Work directly with the competitors, ensure an orderly area and start for the event to work well – great access to cars and people.

Create your own crew
and own a special stage

Best of all, you can join up with your mates and work together to ‘own’ a section of the event. Crews work together to manage a road closure, or perform the setup and operation of a special stage, under the supervision of an experienced Stage Commander.

We’re inviting you to register your own crew for 2022. Gather a group of 4-8 people and you can work together on your own special stage.

Got a favourite stage? Get in early and you might get to adopt the stage of your choice. Crews can operate on as many days as you want, from a single day to across the entire four days, as well as in the leadup to the event.

Each day there are prizes for the best stage crews, plus an overall best stage winner for the event.

It’s not just fantastic fun, you’ll be playing an important part in keeping the event running smoothly. Call your mates, set the date, be part of something great!
